All Kia Sedonas are front-wheel drive. The 3.3-liter V6 develops 276 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. Kia says midrange torque has been enhanced for 2016. A six-speed Sportmatic is the sole transmission. Expect to get about 18 mpg in city driving and 24 or 25 mpg on the highway (20-21 mpg combined), but the EPA estimates only 17/22 mpg from the SXL (Limited) model.
Reasonably well equipped, the base-model Sedona comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, body-color outside door handles, black mesh grille, steering-wheel audio controls, seven-passenger seating, tilt/telescopic steering column, air conditioning, four-speaker audio, Slide-N-Stow second-row seat, split-folding third-row seats, cruise control, keyless entry, full-length side-curtain airbags, Bluetooth, and 12 cupholders. It also includes silver-painted roof rails, eight-passenger seating (with second-row bench), six-speaker audio, and eight-way power driver’s seats.
