Lexus debuted the ES 300h in 2013 and it has remained essentially unchanged since. Now, with the 2017 model year looming, we anticipate the car carrying over yet again in its current form.
As a carryover, we anticipate the looks of the ES 300h, inside and out, to remain completely unchanged. In addition to that, we expect all of the standard features to continue unchanged. If this proves true, then expect to see the car come standard with 17-inch wheels, auto LED headlights, LED taillights, heated mirrors, auto climate control, perforated faux leather seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker sound system, and more.
We also expect the powertrain to continue without changes. The current car’s hybrid setup makes use of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor to ship 200 horses to the front wheels. Handling the shifting duties should be the same continuously variable transmission as before.
