The base Sentra is fairly plain, but serviceable. A manual transmission is standard and raises engine output to 130 horsepower. The optional continuously-variable transmission (CVT) keeps the original 124 horsepower rating, but raises fuel efficiency to 32 mpg in combined driving. Drivers have a choice of Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes. The S comes with Bluetooth, cruise control, a USB connection port, and automatic headlights.
The SV adds the following to the S as standard equipment: keyless entry, Bluetooth streaming audio, premium cloth seats, a sliding armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, hands-free text message assistant, and a 5-inch color display. The CVT is the only available transmission on the SV model and up.
